Licensed Skin Specialist, Speaker, Author, Instructor, Coach, and Caregiver ~Timeline ~
Here is my Story:
I began modeling at 13 years old for John Casablancas, Ford Agency, and Montgomery Wards.
During High School I went to Culinary School and became Chef at the age of 17.
For decades, I have done makeup applications for Stage Productions, Professional Models, Photographers, and Bridal Parties.
I became a Licensed Skin Specialist at 22 and a Medically Certified Esthetician during my time working at Porter Hospital.
I have a son and am a single Mom and Caregiver for my Sister's children, starting with my niece 20 years ago, then for my newborn nephews 6 and 8 years later.
I have always loved being an entrepreneur. I've owned and operated the First Mobile Skincare Clinic in Denver in 1994, Pam's Place Day Spa Owner In Salida, CO and my crown jewel, Good Skin Matters Medical Skincare Clinic, for 20 years.
In addition, I was offered a western regional trainer position at Massage Envy Spa and relocated to California, following a 1992 goal on my career bucket list by working with Dr. Murad in El Segundo, California with my 1.5 and 3 year old nephews on each hip along with 6 carryon bags. I am sure we were a sight!
Recently, I became a Best Selling Author of my companion course book series on August 24th of 2021 It is titled ~ Good Skin Matters "Have Beautiful Skin for Life"! Available on Amazon.
Success Comes by Resilience ~ Here we are!
My clients are bright, successful, beautiful, and committed to following skincare systems and processes.
~ After Covid shutdowns, Good Skin Matters, along with my serving clients at the clinic, has Pivoted online to serve in the virtual space as well as In Person ~ I have been diligently Creating Online content, Websites, My GSM Memberships, Publishing my Course Book series, Conducting Zoom meetings, and adding value by sharing 35 years of knowledge and professional experience and high tech non-invasive skincare equipment.
My life's quest has been to find dehydration and acne solutions so that others do not have to go through what I have. I begin with consultation to create a personalized game plan. I start treating the skin cautiously, adding products and treatments over time as the skin becomes healthier. For clients with so-called "normal skin" that does not experience sensitivity, redness, or other issues, I can perform preventative and regular maintenance treatments.
I use a diagnostic tool called a medical black light with magnification to get a baseline and idea of hydration, bacteria, and sun damage. Utilizing this equipment, I can produce results in a treatment that would take a couple of appointments to accomplish through discovery.
Nourishing Your Skin
Replenishing the microbiome is an essential part of any beauty routine. Masks, irritation, friction, sweat, dirt, dust, heat, cold weather, cosmetics, and even sunlight, all tend to dry out the skin, robbing it of moisture and lipids.
Consequently, making sure to cleanse your face each night before bed is essential to healthier and younger looking skin.
Lifestyle factors into Skin Aggravators: STRESS, SEDENTARY LIFESTYLE, POLLUTION, UNBALANCED DIET, SUNLIGHT
